… WHEN COLOURS PLAY WITH THE HEART …

Biography and critical commentary on Irina Ganiceva’s artistic production:

An old Russian proverb says that only nostalgia has deeper roots than daily needs and human harshness used for living.
There are many Art criticals who turn up their noses if an artist they should census sways between “illegible informal” and “high-resonance” advertisement ideas.
Well, Irina Ganiceva, without flattery or pleasantry for convenience’s sake, summons all these interactive horizons at her own pictorial table, with the power of sincerity.
Sincerity and realism that precisely bind nostalgic memory to thoughts of everyday life, by extracting a “simple” painting in the lines, although compressed to a significant stage effect.
True painting is recognized at first glance.
The speed of the general construct, the feeling that the painter exhibits an elaborative instinct, the gracefulness of style in tempesting the painting facility of the many “darts” that characterize her so original painting…
These are “positive wounds” she knows how to impose to the paintings, which on the other side, are absorbed with astonishing docility.
It is a recall to the visual ecostation that involves all senses, in a sort of ‘council’ able to integrate the value of painting to the electricity enacted by the artist, in the full dynamism of the inspirational phase.
She is mature in design harshness, yet reliable and recognizable among alchemy and secret symbols which ferment on the canvas.
Movements of animals, nudity elegant, childish naivete, all seasoned however with refined and studied uncertainties. They are games of content and color that illustrate all the themes Irina Ganiceva wants to fulfill in order to complete the numerous suggestions of heart and mind, still missing in her inventory.
How not celebrating the thick mass of paintings shown in this catalog?
Color and warmth inside fluid matter, friendly and intelligent, an everlasting pride of a young Russian artist, acclaimed “Mistress” thanks to her results on the easel.
